- Skills are divided into three distinct groups: main skills, craft skills, and gather skills.
- The first 120 points of craft skill and 105 points of gather skills do not count against your main skill cap.
- After that, any additional allocations to craft/gather skills will cut into your main cap.

The following skills currently have **no active gameplay function** on Regisfall but remain visible in the skill list. Some are rolled up into other functions.
- Animal Lore (Can be 'used' in game to train Animal Taming)
- Chivalry
- Haggling
- Hiding (Rolled into 'Stealth')
- Necromancy (Uses customized 'Magery' features)
- Peacemaking (Not used by the Bard system here)
- Provocation (Not used by the Bard system here)
