Fishing

The Fishing skill has many facets aside from simply fishing. Fishing off of coasts or docks will allow you to catch fish and various types of footwear. Raw fishsteaks can be used for Cooking. Once you've reached 80-100 fishing you are able to start fishing in deep waters and have a chance to get rewards such as Special Fishing Nets, Message in a Bottle, and Treasure Maps.

Usage

Grab a fishing pole, double click it and target the water. You can fish in any water. Wait until you've either failed or caught a fish and cast again.

Old Soggy Boots can be obtained just about anywhere and have a chance to provide a fisherman with some materials when double clicked.

Message in a Bottle

When a player is skilled enough in Fishing they can pull up a Message in a Bottle. These items are the seas equivalent of a Treasure Map. These chest contain normal Treasure Chest loot, crafting materials, as well as decorative items only found from Fished Chests but do not contain Artifacts.

Fishing at Sea

When you are fishing at sea, you can use a bladed item (knife, sword, etc.) to remove corpses that might be impeding your boat. (Limited to Krakens and Sea Serpents)
