Dwarves

Keen to carve mountains whole to make room for their halls, Dwarves are a proud and stoic race. Lovers of tradition, their personalities often reflect hints of their ancestors from another age... collectively uninterested in the petty ways of drama, or style. In that regard, sentimentality is often a key trait, and even birthright to a Dwarf. A common value among their race is to not discard anything unless it has lived beyond it's uses; bent-up armor as an example, if it can be repaired it will be kept. However, bearing an obsessive attention to detail and their absolutely masterful crafting in mind, a Dwarf builds things to last.

Despite being commonly misunderstood as vain, Dwarves are immensely thoughtful and creative. Their practice of experimentation has oft led them to be a leading technology in craft; much to the chagrin of other races. Their willingness to improve and finish what they've started has always been a distinct strength of their race, especially considering they are not eager to share their advancements or ideas with many others.
