Being able to dodge the physical attacks of your enemies is one of the most desirable abilities for adventurers of all kinds. A successful dodge completely eliminates any damage what would have otherwise been taken.

Dodge

The Dodge skill is a defensive skill that increases your chance to avoid incoming physical and ranged attacks. Unlike Block, which reduces damage when an attack connects, Dodge prevents the attack from landing entirely.

Mechanics

  • Dodge is automatically checked when you're targeted by a physical or ranged attack.
  • The higher your Dodge skill, the more likely you are to evade the attack.
  • It provides no benefit against magical attacks, but there are feats that do allow you to dodge spells on certain classes.
