The Hunters Assembly

Post by Wyrd » Fri Feb 06, 2026 6:21 pm

[[OOC: This is (for the most part) a PvE-centered guild, with a system designed for long-term advancement and character development. There are essentially no obligations for members; they may choose what aspects of the guild they participate in. However, the more they engage, the more they receive, as described below. The guild itself is, in many ways, a kind of "adventurers guild" loosely based on the Hunters Association from "Hunter x Hunter" anime. If you enjoy group play, Regisfall combat mechanics, dungeon crawling, and treasure hunting, this guild is for you.]]

The Hunters Assembly

Overview

The Assembly is a cooperative of hunters highly skilled in combat, be it martial or magical, with a mutual interest in personal and collective growth. They are specialists in hunting treasures and ancient relics, taking down fierce monsters and mighty beasts, and tracking and disposing of bounty marks. They live for the thrill of the hunt, no matter what the target is. The guild is based in the eastern docks of Edana, the capital of Mercadia.

Values: Cooperation, Vigilance, Resolve and Legacy.

Motto: Treasures, Beasts & Bounties.

Insignia: [※] The dotted X, or Tetrad, representing the guild's four values.

Theme Song: The Ecstasy of Gold

To Join

There are no prerequisites to join the Assembly. All races and all walks of life are welcome among us. While the Guild Hall and Guildstone are located in Mercadia, residence is not required to join. Members may reside wherever they see fit, since hunters are no strangers to travel.

To join, simply approach the Guildstone and write your name on it, next to the names of the other hunters, past and present. New members are encouraged to reach out to meet their guild mates. The Guildstone is located in front of our Guild Hall, south of the Edana stables.

[[OOC: Double-click the Guildstone to apply. Send Drowking a message to be invited into the guild's discord, where hunts and events are organized and scheduled.]]

Ranks & Medallions

The Assembly is a meritocracy, which means rank promotion is entirely based on a hunter's contribution to the guild - their merit. Ranks determine the access and privileges of members.

Upon joining the guild and upon every promotion thereafter, hunters are awarded medallions which function as a physical representation of their rank within the organization. All medallions look the same: a metal coin with the dotted X (※) in the middle. What changes is the material used to forge the coin - the higher the rank, the higher the quality of the metal.

The privileges of each rank are listed below:

Rank 1: Tin Coin

- May use guild dyes

Guild Bank & Vaults

The Assembly practices a tax of 10%. Members are free to donate more, if they wish, but are not expected to. Once taxed or donated, the gold remains in the guild bank and cannot be withdrawn, not even by the Guildmaster. This can be verified by any member, at any time, in the guild roster.

Once the guild has accumulated a sum of 60.000 gold, it is all withdrawn at once and smelted into bars. The bars are then used to craft magical jewelries, which are made available in the vaults, according to their grade, as follows:
  • Level 1 vault: Lesser and Normal grades.
  • Level 2 vault: Greater and Glorious grades.

Hunts & Spoils

Any member, of any rank, may call for a hunt; be it a treasure hunt, a beast hunt, or a bounty hunt. No member is obligated to partake in them and may decide based on availability and interest. Hunts are announced in the appropriate channels of communication (in our discord server), so other hunters can volunteer to cooperate with one another.

Once a hunt is concluded, the spoils are shared among participants. Gold is split evenly. Items are laid down so members may pick what draws their interest. If two or more hunters choose the same item, luck decides who gets to keep it - they roll the dice, highest roll wins the prize. The principle of equity applies and members are expected to act fairly.

Items left behind are sold and their revenue is added to the magic jewelry fund. Resources left behind are donated to the Taskmasters.

Taskmasters & Gear

Taskmasters are highly skilled master artificers in the employ of the Assembly. Members may procure services from these crafters at any time, be it for equipment, consumables, or repairs. Orders may involve a task, usually related to resource acquisition (either materials needed by the guild or required for the craft). Rank determines the tier of equipment a member may request or be granted.

Members with different gathering skills are encouraged to work together to accumulate any given resource necessary to produce an item or required in a task. Cooperation is, after all, the soul of this guild.

Members of Rank 3 or higher may exchange conquest tokens for rare resources, often required to produce high-end gear.

Requests are handled in person or through the Hunters Board in our discord server. The current Taskmasters are: Edgard Galileo and Osmund Dewrnheim.

Hierarchy & Titles

The Assembly has a horizontal structure, which means there is no hierarchy per se. Members of higher ranks are respected for their merits in the guild, not because of their station.

In that sense, titles function more like monikers that evoke a hunter's deeds and accomplishments, rather than symbols of power. Members may choose any title that best represents their background, style, or how they wish to be known in and out of the guild. Alternatively, a member may opt to receive a title organically through their feats in the group.

By default, a member's title begins as their Medallion.

Guild Meetings & Diplomacy

When reports or decisions must be made by the group, a guild meeting may be called by any member. Attendance is encouraged, but optional, based on a hunter's availability and interest. All attendees have a voice and a vote during these meetings, regardless of rank. This means all members can have a say in guild matters, including diplomatic affairs.

While only certain ranks may conduct diplomacy, all members get to voice their arguments and/or concerns in open debate during guild meetings. Alliances and wars are discussed in these assemblies.

For a hunter who wishes to directly influence the guild's history, attendance is paramount. If a decisive meeting fails to occur due to the absence of members or if there is a tie during voting, the Guildmaster decides the guild's direction based on the best interest of the Assembly.

Guild Hall

Our Guild Hall is located south of the Edana stables. Members of all ranks may access the interior and its facilities: training room, meeting chamber, auditorium, and trophy hall. Keys are made available in the Level 1 vault, which all ranks may access.

- Training Room: Where members can train their combat skills privately and undisturbed.

- Meeting Chamber: Where guild meetings or casual reunions take place.

- Auditorium: Where members may give public or private classes about their interests.

- Trophy Hall: Where trophies of the Assembly's victories are displayed.

Hunter's Paradise & VIP Room

Hunter's Paradise General Store: This popular shop is owned by the Assembly and currently managed by Taskmaster Galileo. Through the revenue generated by the store, we are able to self-sponsor and be self-sufficient.

Members of Rank 2 or higher benefit from a 30% discount on any product on display (the Taskmaster must be contacted prior to the purchase). Moreover, members of Rank 2 or higher also gain access to the VIP Room.

VIP room: This is a chamber made available for members of Rank 2 or higher. VIP stands for: Virtue Inspired Peer. Within, members have access to various free products and services, as well as a room for rest or leisure. Please refer to the picture below.

1) Pick-Ups: Free potions, ammunition, tools, pets, mounts, and bags, for members to pick-up as needed.

2) Dropbox: Members may drop donations to the Taskmasters here.

3) Repairs: Members may place equipment in need of repairs here (please notify the Taskmasters when you do).

4) Pantry: Free food and refreshments.

5) Decorations: Free decor and furniture.

The Hunters' Code

(as devised by legendary hunter Marvelous Chester)
1) Do not mistake cooperation for loyalty. Cooperation builds character and strong bonds. Loyalty rots the brain.

2) The hunt begins before the beast is seen. Be ever ready for action and alert against threats. Sleep with one eye open. Trust no one, not even yourself. Vigilance is survival.

3) Once the hunt is sworn, it is finished. Retreat if you must, but never surrender. Learn, adapt, grow. Endurance is your armor; resolve is your shield.

4) The dead still guide the living. Legacy binds hunters across generations. Honor the fallen by paving the road they started. When your time comes, others will do the same for you.

5) Hone your skills to excellence. You are the hunter, not the prey. You are the arrow, not the deer.

6) Do not let anyone throw tar at the Assembly's image and reputation. Hunters are held to higher standards. Act the part.

7) Shared treasure means shared happiness.

8) Medallions speak. Respect their worth.

9) Finders, keepers.

10) The Code is law.

Alliances

Allies of the Assembly are treated as one of us. They are to be respected and protected as we would do to any comrade in arms. Trade with allies is encouraged and should be facilitated whenever possible. Activities and conjoint efforts are common and cherished. If an ally or their assets are being contested or jeopardized in any way, we assist and stand by their side whenever called upon. If an alliance ceases to be profitable or causes problems to the Assembly, it is terminated.

War

When at war status with another guild or nation, they are treated as enemies. They are to be engaged with caution or avoided at all costs. Trade, activities or conjoint efforts with enemies are prohibited and may result in Rank demotion or dismissal of member. If an enemy or their assets are being contested or jeopardized, we assist and stand with whoever opposes them. War status is only terminated when the wrongs of an enemy are rightfully corrected and, thereafter, pardoned. Members have permission to attack and kill any enemies on sight, but are not obligated nor expected to.

Nodes

Nodes are important key locations under our claim and protection. They provide valuable resources in the form of Conquest Tokens. It is responsibility of all members to keep nodes healthy and refreshed. A channel in our discord notifies when nodes need attention. To refresh a node, simply go to the location (marked on the World Map), d-click the monolith and select "Refresh Node". Let others know in the same channel if you did. If one of our nodes is contested by another guild or nation, members have permission to attack and kill contesters on sight, but are not obligated nor expected to.
