Thank you for your interest in Regisfall. Before playing, it is highly recommended that you read the rules.
1. To get started on Regisfall, first download and install Ultima Online.
Important note: The default install path name("Ultima Online Mondain's Legacy") can cause Classic UO to throw an error message due to the apostrophe in the name. It is recommended to create a directory name without any special characters.
2. Download the Regisfall file package (last updated 21 April 2025) and unzip it into your UO directory
- It is recommended to add Windows Defender exceptions for your Regisfall installation folder; Regisfall's custom ClassicUO client can cause a false positive for antivirus software.
IF UPDATING FILES: Do NOT overwrite settings.json as it stores your login preferences.
3. A customized version of ClassicUO is included in the Regisfall package, named Regisfall.exe. Load it from load it from (your Ultima Online install directory)/Regisfall.exe. You can right-click to create a shortcut, and move it to your desktop for easier access.
4. You may now log in using your desired username and password.
The Installer, Patcher, Launcher, or "IPL", is a program that will install Regisfall and keep your files up to date following any future file updates on the server. Note that as a custom executable file, some browsers and operating systems may detect the IPL as being malicious. It is recommended to add Windows Defender exceptions for the IPL and your Regisfall installation folder.
1. Download the Installer, Patcher, Launcher here: Regisfall Installer, Patcher, Launcher ("IPL")
Note: Some web browsers may detect this file as being malicious. If you are unable to download the IPL, attempt to copy/paste the link into a new browser tab. Alternatively, disabling Real-Time Protection in Microsoft Defender will allow you to download the IPL.
2. Select your install location and proceed with installation; the default location is "Program Files/Regisfall". Once installed, you may click the UO icon to load the ClassicUO client.
Note: This installation comes pre-loaded with the Razor assistant tool.
