To the esteemed War Shaman Vor'thul,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. Although I wish the circumstances weren't as grim.
There are two topics I wish to discuss.
Firstly, the Freeport of Tilverton and the Kingdom of Mercadia were under the impression an alliance was formed after the World Leaders Meeting. Plans were made for conjoint training sessions, aimed at combating the Cult of Azamul. Yet, no orc showed for any of the sessions, not in Tilverton, not in Edana. Why is that? Are we to understand the orcs have abandoned the conjoint effort? To do so without any communication is, to put it lightly, a strange diplomatic decision in face of the menace that is Azamul and Mortimer.
Secondly, it has come to my attention that one of our properties - namely, the Darmshall Lumbermill - has been attacked by your clan. This could have been the work of grunts who didn't know better, eager to show their value and strength. At least, I would rather not assume this was an attack sanctioned by you. Hence this letter, to give our neighbors a chance at diplomacy and negotiation, as is expected of civilized folk.
Let me also take this opportunity to remind you the human realms are united, in peace and in war. This union means we won't accept being pushed around or treated as lessers by the other nations who share Regisfall with us. Please, do not misunderstand this for a threat. But it is a warning.
We should be bringing war to the gates of Azamul Fortress. This is no time to be fighting amongst ourselves. With this in mind, we wait for your response in these regards. Should you fail to respond within a day, we will understand that as a declaration in itself.
Una Voluntas, Nullo Adstricta,

A letter sent to Burz'kal
An ethereal-looking raven flies over Burz'kal and drops a letter by the gates, before the guards. The letter is addressed to High Shaman Vor'Thul and bears the seal of The Freeport of Tilverton. It is written in fluent orcish.
