Detecting Hidden
Detect Hidden is used to locate and reveal hidden mobiles. A character's Detect Hidden skill determines their effective search range and their likelihood of successfully revealing a hidden target.

Usage
Once the skill has been invoked, a search is performed automatically around the user's current location. Only one hidden mobile can be revealed with each use.
The chance to successfully reveal a hidden mobile is affected by several factors:
- Detect Hidden vs. Stealth - Higher Detect Hidden skill improves the chance of revealing a target, while higher Stealth makes the target more difficult to detect.
- Distance - Hidden mobiles closer to the user are significantly easier to detect.
- Direction - Hidden mobiles in front of the user are easier to detect, while those beside or behind the user are progressively more difficult to reveal.
The search range of Detect Hidden increases with skill, up to a maximum range of 12 tiles.
Directional Modifiers
The following modifiers are applied to the reveal chance based on the user's direction relative to the mobile being revealed:
- Directly ahead: +10%
- Forward diagonal: +5%
- Side: -5%
- Rear diagonal: -10%
- Directly behind: -15%
Clues
A failed attempt to reveal a hidden mobile may still provide a clue to their location. When this occurs, a temporary footprint and visual effect will appear at the hidden mobile's location. Clues are only visible to the player performing Detecting Hidden.
The direction of the footprint can provide an indication of the direction the hidden mobile was facing when the search was performed.
Revealing a Target
Successfully detecting a hidden mobile will immediately reveal them. A player revealed through Detect Hidden will also be prevented from utilizing all sources of hiding for 10 seconds.
