Religion and Beliefs
Elves offer worship to the council of gods named the Valar. They receive their immortality from the Valar’s blessing and are very greatful to them for such a gift. The council of the Valar are lead by Fanyarnir the Sky Lord and Aldarwen Lady of The Deep.
Fanyarnir - The Sky lord and All Father of the Valar. Patron deity of Mages, Bards and Artisans. Maiar of Fanyarnir - The Sky Knights, warriors and messengers of the Sky lord. Said to formly have been Elves who died in service of others. Can be recognized by their giant eagle mounts, also occationally seen as having large feathery wings.
Aldarwen- Aldarwen is an honoured Valar amongst the elves, for she is not only the mistress of the woods, but of all living things. She is the lady of the earth, and the guardian of the waters and oceans. She creates, cares to, and protects all things living with a warm passion. Aldarwen is a wild and untamed goddess, favored amongst druids, rangers, and soldiers. Even though she loves all living, she knows its circle, and as such always enjoys watching a good hunt. Her waters run through all parts of the earth, and she is a knowledgeable matron, often knowing more than she gives show of. Being the guardian of the seas, and having such an infinite insight, sometimes her most devote followers often arise from the ranks of sailors or scouts.
