Tinkering is the skill that could be considered central to all creativity - The ability to fashion tools for use with the other trades makes it a good starting point for any up-and-coming crafter.
Gathering Materials
Tinkering uses primarily Metals but also some Wood. These materials are gathered by Mining and Lumberjacking.
Crafting
Once you have obtained the required materials and tool, double click double your Tinker's Tools. You will be prompted with a menu, choose the item you wish to craft. Providing you have the skill you will craft the item. Some items made by tinkers can be made exceptional.
