Forensic Evaluation

Forensic Evaluation is a niche utility skill that currently serves only one function: determining who last looted a corpse. It has no combat, crafting, or roleplay utility beyond this, and is generally considered non-essential.

Warning

Forensic Evaluation is not recommended. It provides no meaningful advantage and is generally considered a "flavor-only" or deprecated skill. Players looking to optimize builds should avoid investing in it.

Overview

  • Allows you to examine a corpse to learn who last looted it.
  • Provides no benefits in PvE or PvP beyond that single function.
  • Similar to Item Identification, it is not skill-gated—**even 1 point** in the skill can eventually succeed after enough attempts.

Mechanics

  • Target a corpse with the skill to attempt identification.
  • Success reveals the name of the last looter.
  • Multiple attempts may be required, especially at low skill levels.
  • There is no current gameplay system that rewards or integrates this information.

Training

  • Use the skill repeatedly on looted corpses.
  • No special gear or feats improve the rate of success or training speed.
  • Like other minimal-value skills, it's best left at 0 or 1 unless required for flavor.

Notes

  • May be used in rare RP scenarios or investigations.
  • No known synergy with any class, feat, or mastery.
