− | + | * '''Ninvere Lanreci''', the reigning Elder Queen of Arandor, is a figure of immense respect and authority among the Elven people. A High Elf of regal bearing, she is renowned not only for her wisdom and leadership but also for her storied past as a warrior. During the tumultuous Age of Chaos, Ninvere Lanreci was not merely a passive observer but an active participant in the defense of her people. She distinguished herself in numerous battles, but her most legendary feat was surviving the harrowing Battle of Jyn Pal—a conflict that marked one of the darkest chapters in Elven history. As the forces of the Reformists sought to tear apart the unity of the Elven clans, Ninvere stood as a beacon of hope and resilience. Her skill with both sword and magic became the stuff of legend, as she led her troops with a fierce determination to protect Arandor and the Elven way of life. The Battle of Jyn Pal left deep scars on the Elven race, but it also forged Ninvere Lanreci into the steadfast leader she is today. Her experience in war has instilled in her a deep understanding of both the strengths and vulnerabilities of her people, guiding her as she navigates the challenges of the Modern Era. Under her rule, Arandor has seen a period of recovery and renewed unity, as Ninvere works tirelessly to heal the wounds of the past and prepare her people for the future. Her leadership is marked by a blend of compassion and firmness, with a clear vision for maintaining the delicate balance between tradition and progress. As a survivor of the Age of Chaos, Ninvere carries the weight of her people's history with dignity, embodying the hope that the Elves can rise from their darkest days and reclaim their place in the world.
− | + | There are three positions within Arandor, filled through appointment by the Elven Monarch.
− | ''' | + | *'''Magistrate:''' The magistrate is responsible for day-to-day operations within Arandor, and primarily serves as a bridge between the people of Arandor and their Monarch. For the duration that the Monarch enters the Slumber of Renewal, the Magistrate also assumes control of Arandor. |
− | ''' | + | '''OOC NOTE: In order to emphasize roleplay over jockeying for positions just for the sake of doing so, the Queen is an NPC that is controlled by a storyteller during interactions. That will not change. Further, it should be noted that for the purposes of the lore, Ninvere is the oldest living Elf. |

− | + | * You can join the Kingdom of Arandor by making your way to the temple on the bluff overlooking the bank. Enter the tunnels/mine behind the bank (there are four entrances, two near the bank, one near the Monarch's Rest, and another up the path by the north bridge) and follow the path until you find a staircase leading up. You can find the stone in the center of the Temple on top the bluff. from there you can apply for membership. An officer, or the Magistrate, will check the stone a few times a week to approve new members if accepted. You are encouraged to engage with any of the Elves already on the guild stone mechanically. It will help expedite your acceptance should you opt to apply!

The Monarchy and the Elven Orders
The Elder King, or Queen is accepted through a ceremony that directly invokes the Valar. Not since the age of Chaos has the attempt at appointing a new ruler been rejected by the Valar.
- Ninvere Lanreci, the reigning Elder Queen of Arandor, is a figure of immense respect and authority among the Elven people.
