With unmeasurable joy and pleasure, we would like to announce...
The Tournament Of The Ages!
A combat tournament taking place at Castle Darmshall, in the World Arena, open to all nations and races. It will take place this Varenday, 12th of Aestara, at [[5pm EST]]. Tickets will be sold on the date, at the entrance.
Donation Boxes will also be made available by the Kingdom of Mercadia for all kind souls who would like to contribute with the reconstruction effort, be it with gold, resources or a message of hope.
The main event consists of 1x1 duels, with winners moving up a bracket, until only 3 are left. The last 3 will then fight one another, at the same time, to determine 3rd, 2nd and 1st places.

[[OOC notes:
- The prohibition on Lost Lore potions is to level the field, as it's a big advantage for more established characters / groups. Flasks and normal pots are still allowed.
- Enrolling multiple characters is allowed, but you'll have to buy tickets for each of them and be ready to juggle between chars during the duels.
- The arena is quite large, which should make it viable for any class to participate. The ultimate goal, as always, is to have fun. And some friendly PvP can be a lot of fun.
- Anything that wasn't explicitly prohibited is allowed.

-> 40% of all gold collected from ticket sales will be donated to the reconstruction of the Edana Square! <-Tickets:
- Spectator: 500 gold
- Challenger: 1000 gold
Donation Boxes will also be made available by the Kingdom of Mercadia for all kind souls who would like to contribute with the reconstruction effort, be it with gold, resources or a message of hope.

Prizes:
- 3rd place: 10% of all gold collected from ticket sales + 1 vanity ticket + Bronze Champion Medal
- 2nd place: 20% of all gold collected from ticket sales + 1 vanity ticket + Silver Champion Medal
- 1st place: 30% of all gold collected from ticket sales + 1 vanity ticket + Gold Champion Medal
Additionally, each Champion will have a statue sculpted of them and put on display in the Darmshall museum. The statues will remain there until new Champions rise to the podium.
Who will be the 3 Champions Of The Ages? Only time will tell!Rules:
1) One pet or summon allowed per Challenger;
2) Lost Lore potions are prohibited;
3) No deaths, KOs only;
4) No mounts;
5) Bless a target you Cursed after the match is over;
6) Respect your opponent, the purpose of the tourny is sport and entertainment, not to settle disputes;
7) Challengers who enroll accept they may get injured during the fights.*
*Clerics will be present throughout the event to guarantee the well-being of spectators and fighters alike.
