Corvus Manteia Prodigy

Corvus Manteia wasnt always a necromancer. He began his magical journey as a dedicated scholar of elemental magic. He was a prodigy, mastering intricate spells and complex rituals with ease. His ambition was to become a renowned archmage, celebrated for his control over the destructive powers. He spent hole life studying magic around forgotten corners of ancient libraries and on dusty tomes.

While he havent joining into any groups or magic of schools, he is deeply scarred. Both physically and emotionally. He is like retreated from the world. Loneliness hunts him with a feeling how death he is sometimes. Those thoughts have changed his path to seek deeper into manipulation of souls. He feel himself carrying a untamed power that is forcing him to walk on path of necromancy. This power that had taken so much from him, even now hearing strong echoes which grew into whispers into back of his mind. The strong fire magic he once wielded is slowly twisted and corrupted by his loss....

The echoes have lead him. He found himself in the bustling center of Amerash. Once he entered a tavern there he sees a article "Ars Necromantica" to pick up and read. As he read the treatise he profound sense of peace settled over him. The voices, once a relentless torment, faded into silence, leaving behind a strange calm. The whispers ceased, replaced by a new found clarity. He understood now. The magic he once wielded, all the leading to this point and his grief to untamed power - were just obstacles. Once a prodigy of elemental magic, now stood on the new path - "recognition of the untamed power", which is waiting to be unleashed...

Seeking Zoma

The flickering candlelight cast long shadows across the worn tavern table where Corvus sat, the worn article in his hands. The bold title, "Ars Necromantica - A Treatise On Necromancy," had captivated him, entrancing him like a hypnotic spell.

Corvus, a restless soul with a thirst for knowledge that borders on obsession of mysteries of the world magic schools, had never considered himself as a necromancer. The word conjured images of ghoulish graveyards and bone rituals. The way its been spoke in this pamphlet challenging him to explore its depths, however dangerous they might be, even more.

He devoured his word in each sentences, compelling arguments and dismantling the common misconceptions about necromancy and it craft. The treatise unveiling it magic with introductions. It then delves into the lexicon and etymology of the term "necromancy," tracing its origins and explaining its evolution. He understood Zomas intention is to educate others and that he believes that necromancy is no different from other schools of magic, comparing it to summoning elemental creatures. This school does not lie in the realm of evocation, but rather on conjuration. Understanding that they hope by sharing their knowledge, people will understand and accept necromancy as a valid form of magic.

The tavern was buzzing with life, but Corvus was lost in the world of the treatise. As he read about the "Shadow Bolt," a spell that channeled the coldness of death, and the "Toxic Arrow," a deadly projectile imbued with the essence of decay. The more he read, the more sense of purpose is calling him to explore this new path.
His imagination being with mages studying ancient texts, experimenting with bone-based constructs, and even crafting intricate bone jewelry. The very idea of such school sent shivers down his spine, but it also ignited a spark of excitement within him.

His work truly opened my eyes. Now i am deciding to find the author Zoma....
