With Fort Risencrantz ready, the Wyrd Cabal will be taking a more active role in the tilvan region, spear-heading a few projects. We would like to take this chance to reveal one of them immediatelly:

New Citizen Program: To assist in accomodating new citizens in Tilverton, the Wyrd Cabal is starting a fund dedicated to housing. Anyone who wishes to acquire citizenship, a house and start a life or a business in Tilverton, is welcome to seek us. The guild will bear 30% of the costs (50% for guild members) of any house or stall within Tilverton for new citizens.

This program takes effect come the publication of this announcement.

Moreover, we would like to announce the Wyrd Cabal is currently hiring. If you wish to play an active role in the development of the Tilverton region, as well as in the protection and overall progress of the Southlands, consider joining us. If you are interested and would like more information, speak to any of our members (identified by our insignia) or send us a letter stating your wish [DM Drowking on discord]. We will arrange a meeting to discuss your desire in person.

With our recent expansion, two sub-groups were created within the guild: The Temple of the Stranger, dedicated to the interpretation of the exoteric and divine forces of our Cosmos, and the Dragonrider Militia, the vanguard of the guild, dedicated to the martial studies. If you are interested in one of them and would like more information, mention it in your letter. A future announcement will disclose more details about these sub-groups and their ranks.

Lastly, we plan to run events frequently in the tilvan region, from social gatherings to hunts, from arcane classes to sermons. It is our goal to make Tilverton lively and empowered, so it can reach the pinnacle of a true free city.

The Wyrd Cabal has, in more than one opportunity, made its intent public and clear in regards to the Southlands, its protection and fostering. As such, the liberation of Tilverton from the Consortium scum has always been a planned goal.

Now... The time has come.

Tilverton is one of the last bastions of humanity in the Southlands; freeing it from the grip of smugglers and bandits will benefit not only humans, but all nations of the civilized world. With this in mind, we call upon a meeting with all parties interested in the reclamation; nations, guilds or individuals who wish to assist in this effort, who share our belief of a world rid of tyrants ruling through fear and violence. We will discuss an effective plan and a strategy to deal with the Consortium invaders.

Tilverton will be free again. And you can be a part of its history.

Members of the Consortium, be warned.

Those of you who still plague West Tilverton, this is your last chance: pack your things and move away. Take this opportunity to abandon an organization that treats you as nothing but dogs, and start anew.

Consortium deserters who wish a new life will be conscripted into our cause and offered a pardon. Your crimes against Tilverton and its people will never be forgotten, but perhaps they can be forgiven if you shift your efforts to instead safeguarding the city you once terrorized.

Those who fail to comply to this demand will soon find themselves taking a swift dive, followed by an abrupt stop, in the gallows.

Consider this warning carefully, for we are coming.

"To the steemed people of the realms,

Tilverton is reclaimed!

In a conjoint effort, Mercadia and the Wyrd Cabal have successfully rid Tilverton of Consortium influence. It is now returned to its people, free again. Now it is time to rebuild the city and our mutual trust. With West Tilverton free of its tyrants, the city is once again whole. On Februrary 22nd of 16.901, The Freeport of Tiverton is reborn!

Two representatives were elected from the populace to lead the city to new heights. Helena, The Reclaimer, is the Mayor of Tilverton, acting as the de facto leader of the city. And appointed by her, I, Zomactelonyvarix, Harbinger of the Wyrd Cabal, am now the Overseer of Tilverton.

I reaffirm my vows towards Tilverton. We will keep the city and its people protected and we will spare no resources or effort to defend their interests. As with the Wyrd Cabal, we will keep our promise of bringing progress and prosperity to this region. Through the strength of our arm, sweat and blood, we will help rebuild Tilverton as free people, unaffiliated to any crown.

With that said, I want to take this chance to promulgate the first decree of The Freeport of Tilverton, attached below.

February 23rd, 16.894. I Decree of The Freeport of Tilverton.

By the power invested in me by the people of Tilverton, I hereby declare the Consortium Brotherhood banished from Tilverton. As of the publication of this decree, any member of the Consortium found in proximity or within tilvan territory is to be brought to justice on site. All citizens of Tilverton are expected to report any suspected Consortium activity to the governing body. Those found in association with the Consortium Brotherhood are to be treated and dealt with as if they were one of them.

A day filled with merriment, music, dancing, food and drinks. May this be the first celebration of many more to come. May Tilverton soar high into an age of fortune and abundance."

It is with great pleasure I announce the first edition of the Reclamation Ball a success. The event united mercadians and tilvans once again, this time for celebration. Many amongst the attendees were heroes of the reclamation themselves.

With the intention of always remembering those heroes and that day, I am happy to announce the Reclamation Ball is, as of now and by my decree, a tilvan tradition - a holiday happening every year, on the first saturday after the Reclamation Day.

March 2nd, 16.894. II Decree of The Freeport of Tilverton.

By the power invested in me by the people of Tilverton, I hereby declare the Reclamation Ball a tilvan holiday, to be celebrated yearly, on the first saturday past Reclamation Day, February 22nd, in remembrance of the heroes who fought in the Battle of West Tilverton. The governing body of Tilverton shall bear any costs involved in the production of such event. This is a festivity for the people of Tilverton, so that in this day of joy they are reminded of their roots in the fight for freedom.

Moreover, the governing body of The Freeport of Tilverton has an announcement to make. With West Tilverton reclaimed, we can begin the reconstruction. We need to reintroduce Tilverton in the commerce routes of the Mainland. With this in mind, we're planning to begin the reconstructions with a new market area, with its own Merchant Hall. That way our artisans and crafters have a market to sell their wares and rely on to generate wealth. And if we succeed, we might get the attention of the Merchant Guild. I am sure if we get their attention they will bring their business to the Freeport.

Lastly, the new citizen program ends come this next friday, so this is your last chance. Enjoy it while it lasts!"

With this alliance, the human realms have a unified army at their disposal and access to practically unlimited resources North and South. Through this union, the citizens of both cities will be safer and wealthier, not only pecuniarily, but also culturally.

As the first of many reformations in the city, the interior of The Tarnished Taps is now fully renovated. This is a gift from the governing body of Tilverton to the tilvan people, as well as to the visitors of the city. The structure of the building will be repaired at a later date, come the reconstruction of the city proper.

Nonetheless, the importance of this first step should not be overlooked nor underestimated. Taverns are places where bonds are formed, trades are effected and joy is shared; they're often regarded as the soul of a city.

It is our hope the new Tarnished Taps continues lifting the spirits of its patrons, standing as a symbol of unity in The Freeport of Tilverton.

To the esteemed people of the Freeport of Tilverton and beyond,


It is with great pleasure I write this announcement.

It has been now two months since the Consortium Brotherhood forces were driven out and Tilverton reclaimed. And now we can see, as clear as daylight, the cost of our once lost freedom: stagnancy. Under the grip of the Consortium leeches, there was no development; all the laurels of our hard work stolen from us.

Two months as a free city and we already witness change and progress. We are finally able to reap the fruits of our labor. Through the collective effort of the ever diligent governing body of Tilverton, we've begun the reconstruction of the city and its expansion into the tilvan meadows.

The Western district is cleared and, soon, new houses will be made available. A merchant hall was also built there, providing jobs for the populace and an infrastructure for artisans of all talents to practice their skills. The Tarnished Taps tavern, a symbol of unity, was fully renovated. Moreover, new buildings were constructed south of the city, paving the way for its expansion. A map is attached below, displaying each location.



1. Fort Risencrantz - the administrative center of the governing body of the Freeport.

2. The Temple of The Stranger - the pillar of our faith and a conduit to our revered patron.

3. The Barracks of The Dragonrider Militia - the headquarters of our army.

4. The Tower of the Esoteric Lyceum - our academy of arcane and alchemical studies.

5. The Tower of The Dark Star - the office and residence of the Overseer.

It should also be noted that the old fort that housed the Consortium operations and their leader was repurposed. It is now the office and residence of our exalted mayor, Helena The Reclaimer.

None of this would come to fruition had we not shattered our chains. The Reclamation made it possible. And it is undeniable that the expertise of the Wyrd Cabal - that being necromancy - played a major role in such event, no matter how sinister it might be viewed by some. Despite the controversial topic, transparency has always been one of our core values. As such, we cannot ignore the obvious: were it not for our dark art, mayhaps we would still be bound by the Consortium tyrants.

With this in mind, I would also like to put forth the following decree, which is in effect as of the date of this publication:

April 9th, 16.894. III Decree of The Freeport of Tilverton.

By the power invested in me by the people of Tilverton, I hereby declare the magic school of Necromancy, its studies and its pursuit, legal in all tilvan territory. The creation and control of undeads, so long as they are used in the protection of Tilverton, its people and its sovereignty, is henceforth allowed.

However, it should be noted: the practice of Reanimation is limited to the corpses of monsters. Any necromancer found desecrating our graveyard, utilizing the corpses of humanoids or jeopardizing the wild life of our meadows, will be deemed a Rogue Necromancer and dealt with accordingly.

Let me take this chance to remind everyone that the Wyrd Cabal, since its founding, has taken it upon itself to hunt down and rid the realms of Rogue Necromancers. We do not take it lightly when miscreants seek to cast a shadow over our art and reputation. May this be a warning.

Last but not least, as the city grows, more opportunities arise. Let me take this chance to announce that our three sects are hiring. To those who are ambitious and looking to join a great cause, let it be known:

- The Dragonrider Militia is seeking to employ warriors of any martial style in its legion.

- The Temple of The Stranger is seeking novices to enlighten and train in the creed of our patron deity.

- The Esoteric Lyceum is seeking scholars and occultists to join its academy.

Training and equipment will be provided for those who pass the initiation trial, along with a draconic mount for members of the militia. All interested parties are encouraged to carefully peruse the pamphlets attached to this poster [[see: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=161]].

May the furor of our efforts echo through History, as the Freeport of Tilverton rises from the ashes renewed, ever industrious, ever stalwart.
