Dwarven Drone
The Drone Assembly is a Dwarf-exclusive Tinkering Master Craft that requires 30% Tinkering skill to assemble once crafted. A drone assembly may have up to 3 attachments connected which will alter different characteristics of the drone's damage, survivability, or general utility.
Once assembled, a drone may be controlled the same as a pet.
- Drones occupy 3 control slots
- Drones have 100 max durability which will be reduced through normal combat
- Durability can be repaired through Tinkering with 10 iron ingots(durability increase scales with Tinkering skill)
- Immune to poison and bleed effects
- Movement speed will not reduce when injured
Drone Attachments
A drone may have up to 3 attachments connected at a time, 1 offensive attachment and 2 utility attachments. Attachments may be connected and disconnected at will, while the drone is disassembled.
Offensive(1 slot):
Buzzsaw (Carpentry)
- Increases the drone's base melee damage
- Will efficiently saw any logs found on the ground into boards, increasing board amount by 10%(requires Satchel)
Flamethrower (Tinkering)
- Will intermittently blast current combatant within 3 tiles
Autocannon (Blacksmithy)
- A gun attachment that shoots current combatant from a range of 8 tiles
Utility(2 slots):
Large Satchel (Tailoring)
- Gives the drone an equipped backpack
- Drone will automatically pick up any stackable items
Glowing Core (Blacksmithy)
- Allows cooking and baking of food items
- Allows smelting of ore
Armor Plating (Blacksmithy)
- Increases base resistances of drone
- Increases max hit points of drone
Arc-Welder (Tinkering)
- Intermittently heals drone for 5-8% of max hit points
- Increases base hit point regeneration rate
Radar Beacon (Tinkering)
- Intermittently detects hidden mobiles within a 5 tile radius
- Has a chance to reveal 1 detected mobile
Example of the Drone Gump:
