Saerin

According to the Dwarves, they are ancient beyond all others besides the imperfect kin created before Saerin began his greatest creation. Being that Dwarven holy dogma depicts a Dwarf judged upon his greatness, word of mouth, beard, Ale tolerance, battle deeds, and of course... Blacksmithing and MiningSkill.

The Dwarves believe first and foremost that Saerin created all great things from the very mountains and a tool, literal or not, called The Soul Forge . The most ancient of texts, scribed from runes carved into the deepest and oldest mines in the land, speak of the great Saerin crafting great creatures out of the very metals of the world, then continuing to make stranger beings out of his forge. It was after many creatures had been created, from the lizard men to the imps to the beasts that now roam far and wide, that he decided to make a race of perfection; a creature so like himself, like all he had created, but the most perfect aspects of each creation before it. It is said Dwarves were carved from the strongest of all the stones: given eyes as focused and sharp as diamonds, ones made from steel forged from The Soul Forgeitself. ...and in likeness to their creator given grand beards to show their link to the greatest of the gods.

Dwarven worship is not just simply groveling at the nearest church in hopes the Forger himself hears you, but creating masterpieces from stone and forge and hammer. Murals and relief sculpting into the sides of the mines and homes of all dwarves. Runes and designs carved into every blade and shield crafted. Every drop of sweat that touches the damp ground within a mine. All blessings given to Saerin and his Soul Forge. Likewise in combat, all victories are met with glory to Saerin without even a word spoken; for the very blades are lined with the prayers of the Dwarves, depicted with runes along the blades and hilts of swords, elaborate axes and heavy maces. The Dwarves do not adhere to dogma, nor practice preaching to others. They feel any whom are worthy already know of Saerin and will live by him on their own. You do not often get second chances with or among the Dwarves, and all their practices, especially religion reflects this.
